Sunrise Branding
New look, new claim, new campaign. I have done art direction on the rework of Sunrise back in 2018, coming up with the gradient standing for the service provider and declining it all over the brand. Over a year we reworked every piece of communication.
It was quite fun to play around with the brand since we gave it a unique bright and iconic look. The brand’s gradient grew from a simple design element to embodying brand identity – and making Sunrise significantly stronger than their biggest competitors.

It started with the campaigns below. We worked together with photographer Lukas Gansterer to portrait people using the best national network. Thanks to a couple of largely widespread campaigns we establish this new look.

We launched the new aesthetic with a first
image campaign and had a follow up during the year.
A year of Sunrise
From the smallest banner to the biggest billboard, we orchestrated a giant makeover. The brand trusted us with B2C and B2B and we came up with fun add ons like the phone covers or the streetparade animation. We made it impossible to miss the Sunrise gradient.
Note that due to Publicis Group’s award sabbatical in 2018 the full extent of this job never got the chance to be judged.
